Biography

Singer, songwriter with an eclectic voice that goes from pop to jazz, from soul to funk. 

After an intense study of singing in different stylistic areas, musical, pop and jazz, she obtained a Bachelor of arts and a Master’s Degree with honors in jazz singing at the Conservatory Niccolò Piccinni of Bari, a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of Bari, and a Master’s Degree in writing and music composition with the University of West Scotland (UK).

 She studied acting, diction, stage movement and collaborated with several theater companies in Puglia. She has participated in several singing competitions in pop and Italian and European Jazz festivals, including Warsaw Jazz Days in Poland, Decontaminate Festival at the Casa del Jazz in Rome, Alatri Jazz Festival, Onyx Jazz Festival, Argojazz Festival.

 Since 2014 she started to deal with World Music, becoming the voice of the project Afrodiaspora adding to the baggage of his experiences the singing of other cultures of the world, interpreting songs in different Central and South American and African languages, such as Spanish, Creole, Malinké, Bambara and Yoruba.

 She carries out an intense concert and recording activity with pop and jazz projects.

In the didactic field she teaches Singing, Songwriting, ensemble music in the University of the West of Scotland courses in the campus of Bari and Pop ensemble music at the Conservatory Nino Rota of Monopoli (Ba).

 

In March 2022 she released his latest album “Xennial” published by Alfa Music available on all digital platforms.
